Students from Tennessee, McConnell Elementary, Orchard Knob Elementary, and the Chattanooga Public Library
researched various cultures around the world, Africa, and Native Americans and created cultural revelation masks.

Egyptian students shared details about the Life of the Pharoh and wrote common words into Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs. They also created a PowerPoint about the important traditions and moments of human life in Egypt. Project links:http://padlet.com/mepotoczak/symbols

Washington State students learned about the Northwest Tribes and the Circle of Life of the Salmon and they worked on individual button blankets and the study of animal symbols used in the blankets. Project link:
New Jersey students researched Ancient China and created common words into Chinese characters
Romanian students shared cultural traditions refelecting the Circle of Life. They also shared Romanian Cultural Masks. Another group of Romanian students shared the Signs of Spring.
